I've finally found some time to work on hockey stuff. Man, the holidays are a hectic time!
Sorry I haven't posted much lately...I have to admit, I've enjoyed the time off from hockey.
I'll post more on Wednesday, but this was in the NY Times this week...

I learned a lot last night about the BREC:
- There are more bathrooms (especially women's) in the BREC than most buildings its size
- I was told that I can't come flush a toilet when the plumbing gets tested. (In case you didn't know...all big buildings have to have all the toilets flushed at the same time to see if the pipes leak, burst, or if they don't have enough water pressure. I REALLY wanted to flush one of them...but they flush them all automatically!)
- There have been ZERO lost hours for injury or accidents so far...hope I didn't just jinx the project!
- Construction workers are quite funny! I'm biased...but to me, it's worth a listen.
We're talking about the BREC tonight...Gerry Domino, the senior project manager for Kraus-Anderson, and Greg Judge, the project superintendent, will join us tonight at 6pm (central) on WMIS-FM tonight.
Troy Jutting from Mankato will join us as well.
In all things, I think everyone in "Beaver-ville" needs to remember that this team is undefeated in league play...8-0-0 is impressive!
BSU didn't play as well Saturday night as they did on Friday night, but Niagara played better too. The three "garbage time" power play goals on Friday in the third really made things seem more lopsided than they were.
The McKelvie, Lehrke, MacQueen line is good! Really good!
Dan Bakala saved the day on several occasions this weekend.
If time of possession was a stat in hockey...BSU would lead the country in yet another stat.
If not for Moran and Olidis and Mironov, I'm not sure who would score (consistently) for Niagara.
Since a few people "emailed the booth" Saturday...Chris Peluso should be back next week. I have no idea who comes out of the lineup then. That d-core is pretty good, and everyone is playing pretty well.
